The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure Is Here

Via: The Sims

Simmers, The Sims™ 4 Jungle Adventure* has arrived! And with it comes a new destination, culture, and so much more. Read on for a vacation-worthy guide, plus pro tips to get the most out of your exotic trip.

Locals Only

When they travel to Selvadorada, your Sims are sure to meet local friends and get ready for all things wild. In the mood for some culture? Your Sims can try traditional foods, dance to new music, practice native customs, and shop for authentic décor. Plus, colorful fashions will have your Sims feeling ready to take on whatever the jungle throws at them!

Pro Tip: The cantina is the place to meet locals, eat, shop, and catch the latest rumors.

Prepare or Beware

Exploring the jungle is one of the most exciting parts of this pack, but we recommend your Sims gear up first. Hiking attire will get your Sims in the spirit of adventure, and preparing for danger with items from the marketplace will help your Sims explore. After entering the jungle, Sims can find hidden pools, ancient artifact sites, and ruins. But beware of natural dangers and obstacles, from deadly bees to poisonous spiders!

Pro Tip: The jungle is full of helpful materials. Keep an eye out for fruit trees, which will give benefits to those courageous enough to try them.

It’s Temple Time

When they stumble upon a unique temple, there’s no telling what your Sims will find. The mysterious rooms can unlock delight (or terror!), priceless relics, and treasures. Plus, each time your Sims visit the temple, they’ll experience new challenges and uncover different treasures or traps.

Pro Tip: If you prepare your Sims with proper adventuring equipment, they will have an easier time searching for the Temple. Should you choose not to prepare your Sims, you’ll see all the fun ways the jungle pushes back.

As a Matter of Artifact

Sims can excavate and examine hidden items, which could turn out to be precious objects. Check them out at the archaeology table to decide if they’re worth their salt, but watch out for ones that are fake.

Pro Tip: You can take artifacts home to display with pride!

See the sights, reap the rewards, and interact with a new culture! Plus, give your Sims a boost for their adventure during Triple Boost Week! Five Secrets of the Jungle

Via: The Sims

Hello Simmers (and mysterious creatures of the jungle who learned to read)!

Welcome to the jungle . . . blog, that is! In the new The Sims™ 4 Jungle Adventure Game Pack,* you’ll find a luscious, dangerous, jam-packed tropical forest for your Sims to explore on their next vacation. We know your Sims’ Simoleons are precious, so here are five quick tips on what you must explore while visiting:

1)     The Market

The jungle is an incredibly dangerous place, full of things that really, really want to harm your Sims. Before you begin your adventure, head over to Puerto Lllamante to see what’s for sale. While there, consider buying a machete for those pesky ancient gates, some on-the-go meals, a shower for the jungle, or even a series of ointments to help with vicious ouchies.

Trust us, they’re worth the Simoleons. And, oh! Don’t forget to buy a local bite to eat from the food stand while you’re there. (Okay, we said five tips, but this one sorta counts as two. An extra tip!)

2. The Hidden and the Locked

There are areas of the jungle that are locked off with magic on every trip, so keep your eyes open for hidden paths and locked gates. These change from trip to trip, which means if you want to truly see everything, you’ll need to venture out multiple times.

3. Seeing the Sites

Archaeology is a new fantastic skill in Jungle Adventure, but not every chance to dig is visible. You’ll need to keep your eyes peeled for exploration sites in the jungle. Your Sims will gather artifacts that earn Simoleons with this archeology skill, but that’s not all. They can find rare, precious, and – dare we say –  dangerous relics. Relics with curses. Relics with powers. Relics that make you get your hands dirty, while preparing Sims for whatever else they might find.

4. A Bone to Pick

It’s rumored that skeletons in the jungle don’t always remain where they breathed their last breath. It’s not ideal, we admit, but if you want to get to the sweet, precious relics at the end of a temple, your Sims may need to endure the undead.

But really, are they the undead? They’re not zombies. They’re not vampires. They’re clearly dead, but are they really undead? Either way, just make sure to befriend the skeletons if you find them. You never know what their friendship may unlock.

5. Entrapment

If your Sims manage to make it to the temple, kudos! That’s a big accomplishment. But to get there, you’ll need to outwit a series of traps first. The secret to the traps are the context clues. If your Sims check their surroundings and interact with them, you’ll quickly figure out the solution. Another secret to traps is the answers or tools that may be found in the jungle approaching the temple. Keep your pockets full of the items you gather along the way, or make a quick trip back to the market to acquire goods to aid you, because they might save your Sims.

That’s it for now! We hope this helps as your Sims navigate this exciting new world. Just be sure to share the adventures with us on our social channels, liking us on Facebook, following us on Twitter, or tagging us on Instagram.

Jungle Adventure: A Day in the Life

Via: The Sims

Hey there, Simmers!

The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure* comes out swinging February 27, and this game pack will introduce your Sims to an entirely new cultural destination: Selvadorada. With so much to explore, think of us as your tour guide with a little advice on how to get the most out of a day in the jungle.

First, head to Puerto Lllamante, the local marketplace that offers survival gear, trinkets, photo ops, and more to get your Sims ready for their trip. Some items can keep your Sims safe on their journey, like spider repellent and poison antidote. Plus, level up your Selvadoradian Culture skill to get secret adventure gear, which will help Sims on their travels. Okay, you’re now ready to explore. Let’s go!

Hold up. Roaring falls. Chirping birds. Wow, this gorgeous landscape deserves a second look! Before diving into any potential mayhem, take a moment for your Sims to appreciate how lush and green Selvadorada truly is. It’s no wonder they call this place a natural, well, wonder.

All right, squad, moving on! Once you get your bearings, you can search to find the Omiscan Temple. And once you do, your Sims can find riches beyond their wildest dreams! But, not so fast. There are lots of traps to look out for, and some are even deadly. Solving them will help your Sims go deeper into the temple, where there are surprises at every turn. Make sure to return to the Secret Temple several times. Because it has magical powers, each time your Sims visit, it’s different. Whoa.

How’d they do that? When you get back to base camp, beef up your Archeology skill when you examine all the goods you’ve collected. You can discover artifacts, mystical relics, and crystals. Your Sims can even take these home as mementos (or proof!) of their wild adventures.

After all that exploring, your Sims will need to blow off some steam! Head to the cantina to celebrate your courageous day and get to the know the locals, and learn their traditions. Dance the night away with some spicy moves, and raise a glass to your Jungle Adventure!

Ready to gear up for this all-new experience? We can’t wait to see your discoveries in The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure when it releases worldwide on PC and Mac February 27, 2018. In The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure, you can take your Sims on a mysterious escapade, discover an unknown culture, and travel to a unique wilderness landscape. There’s so much to explore – here’s a sneak peek of some of the fun your Sims will have!

In this pack, Sims will travel to a faraway land called Selvadorada. They can explore the jungle, leaving no stone (or hidden pool!) unturned, discover ancient relics, and much more. To uncover extra fun, your Sims will stumble upon a hidden temple, where they can venture inside mysterious rooms. Great treasures or perilous doom await at every turn. Watch out for that trap!

They can also excavate and examine precious objects to keep for themselves and show off at home. Will they unearth something ancient, beautiful, or even mystical? Perhaps all three, but watch out for pesky fakes worth nothing at all!

Now, we know all this probably sounds super entertaining, but no adventure goes without risks, right?
