Via: The Sims

The Sims™ 4 City Living* is right around the corner, so we wanted to share with you 8 things that we’re super ridiculously excited for! This pack contains some awesome content, with some established favorites and a whole heap of new things for you & your Sim to try, so let’s get started!

1: Apartments!

Big cities mean apartment living and San Myshuno is no exception. With lot traits, landlords and noisy neighbors, your Sim will get the full (un)pleasant experience of what living in a city can really be like.

2: Geekcon.

Festivals are a great new way for your Sim to get out and have some fun, and Geekcon is no exception. Costumes? Gaming competitions? Science?! Sign us up!

3: New furniture & decor!

San Myshuno has a lot of different cultural influences and you’ll see that in build/buy items. We can’t wait to see all your fantastic builds and creations on The Gallery!

4: Basketball Hoop.

The basketball hoop is a great new way for your Sim to get a work out, or if they prefer, to be competitive against other Sims.

5: Social Media Career.

Social Media is a part of pretty much everyone’s lives at this point, so bringing this in with City Living made a lot of sense. Sending your Sim out on assignment is something we think you’re really going to enjoy.

6: Penthouses.

Penthouses are going to be the ultimate dream lot for Sims in San Myshuno, with buckets of space and potential for building your Sims dream space. Plus, the view is pretty great up there!

7: New recipes.

New city, new flavors! San Myshuno brings a bunch of new recipes that your Sim can learn. Get them over to the Spice Festival so they can start tasting and learning!

8: Racoon suit!

You didn’t think we’d leave the raccoon suit out, right? Come on! We can’t wait to see all your screenshots of your Sim wearing this and getting up to all kinds of fun.

So there’s 8 things we’re super hyped for, and now it’s your turn! Head to our interactive map of San Myshuno here to take a look around and start exploring. Then, hit us up on Twitter and let us know what you’re most excited for in The Sims 4 City Living. Don’t forget to use #TS4CityLiving!

Nom Some Noms at the Spice Festival in The Sims 4 City Living

Via: The Sims

Festivals are one of our favorite new attractions in The Sims 4 City Living* Expansion Pack (coming this November), because they send our diverse city of Sims to the streets to mix, mingle, learn new things, and make new friends!

Woah, that burns! If you’re fanning the flames from your mouth, you’re at San Myshuno’s Spice Festival, which appears in the Spice Market district of San Myshuno. The Spice Festival is all about edible delights, including food from different cultures, the flavored pop of the Bubble Blower, and fresh produce.

While at the Spice Festival your Sims might participate in the Curry challenge, a fire breathing bout that’ll bounce Sims without spice resistance out on their butts. Your Sim needs to bring their A-Game, or at least a pitcher of water, if they want to win that title.

The Spice Festival is a colorful and delicious experience for every Sim’s palette. Be sure to bring some friends and take a bite. Not sure when it’s happening? Look for the signs located in the neighborhoods or the bulletin board in your apartment’s common area. See you at the Spice Festival!

Embrace Your Inner Geek at GeekCon in The Sims 4 City Living

Festivals are one of our favorite new attractions in The Sims 4 City Living* Expansion Pack (coming this November), because they send our diverse city of Sims to the streets to mix, mingle, learn new things, and make new friends!

We here at Maxis love events like E3 in LA, Gamescom in Germany, Comic Con in San Diego, and others! So we knew we wouldn’t be able to resist adding a GeekCon of our own to San Myshuno! If your Sims are into video games, cosplay, or science, you’ll want to send them to the GeekCon, which occurs regularly in the Fashion District.

Geek savvy Sims who have been practicing their video game skills can participate in the video game competition, while programmers can compare coding chops in the Hackathon. You’ll see the computers light up when it’s time for the competition, so quickly click and let your Sim’s fingers fly!

Sims who love a good photo opportunity might see Sims wearing crazy costumes, which makes for a perfect selfie! You might even see a return of some of our favorite costumes, though that’s bearly worth mentioning…

Even better, Sims who haven’t had a chance to use the rocket ship or telescope, can discover new things in a truly atmospheric feature of the GeekCon.

Get in costume, practice your nerdage, and bring your Sims to the GeekCon appearing in the Fashion District in San Myshuno! Not sure when it’s happening? Look for the signs located in the neighborhoods or the bulletin board in your apartment’s common area. See you at GeekCon!

Festivals are one of our favorite new attractions in The Sims 4 City Living* Expansion Pack (coming this November), because they send our diverse city of Sims to the streets to mix, mingle, learn new things, and make new friends!

Is that love in the air? Or perhaps fireworks? The Romance Festival is where Sims can bring their beau, or meet a beau to be, in this quaint and irresistibly cute meet up in the city. The Romance Festival occurs in the city’s Fashion District, which is the perfect backdrop to take Cupid’s Arrow right to the heart. And for those Sims who are looking for love at first sight, you can also have a spur of the moment proposal or wedding!

Sims at the Romance Festival can try the Sakura Tea to get in the mood to be flirty, which makes sense as they came looking for love! Furthermore, the festival will be known for the Romance Guru! Your Sim can learn all about their romantic destiny and if their future is bright or bleak.

Not sure when it’s happening? Look for the signs located in the neighborhoods or the bulletin board in your apartment’s common area. See you at the Romance Festival!
